Production Process Technologist (m/f)
The Position
As a Production Process Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client’s sophisticated machines and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the work, programming, and setup of these machines during the production process. Your expertise in production techniques, machinery, and electronic components will contribute to the successful development and production of high-quality electronic parts.
Place of work: Šentjernej, Slovenia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the setup, programming, and calibration of sophisticated machines used in the production process, such as automated assembly systems, pick-and-place machines, soldering machines, and testing equipment.
- Monitoring and managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, quality control measures, and safety protocols.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Conducting regular quality checks and inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during production, such as equipment malfunctions, programming errors, or material inconsistencies.
- Continuously analyzing production data, including yield rates, cycle times, and downtime, to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date production records, including machine settings, process parameters, and production outputs.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, operators, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication throughout the production process.
The Candidate
- Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Highly motivated and eager to learn and invest in professional growth.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
