Our client is a leading solar photovoltaic (PV) developer, with offices across Europe. With a focus on commercial and industrial customers, they deliver comprehensive, end-to-end services, from engineering and equipment procurement to construction, performance monitoring, and long-term maintenance. They are now expanding into the Croatian market and are seeking a charismatic and experienced professional to drive market growth with strong technical support from an international expert team.

 

Position

The Business Development Manager will lead the development and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) while driving sales of solar and energy storage solutions, and building long-term, value-driven partnerships with clients and local partners.



Responsibilities
  • Design and execute tailored business development plans for the Croatian market.
  • Cultivate and grow connections with major clients and regional partners, ensuring seamless agreement implementation and ongoing collaboration.
  • Track and evaluate competitor actions to stay ahead in the market and deliver actionable strategic insights.
  • Assist with diverse sales and promotional projects as guided by the leadership team.
  • Travel throughout Croatia and potentially within the broader EU as required.
 

The Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and contract negotiation, with knowledge of solar PV and energy storage technologies.
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing impactful sales initiatives tailored to the Croatian market.
  • Hands-on experience with negotiating and overseeing energy purchase agreements is considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and influencing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Croatian speaker with fluent English communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Category B driving license.
