Our client is an established B2B SaaS company building mission-critical software used by large enterprise operators. Their cloud-based platform helps international clients manage complex operational data and make data-driven decisions that improve reliability and reduce costly operational risk. The product is a multi-tenant SaaS solution on a modern Microsoft/.NET stack, integrating with major enterprise systems, and is being extended with AI-powered, predictive features. The company is in a strong growth phase and is actively expanding its engineering teams.
Position
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will own backend-heavy features across the platform end-to-end; from architecture and design through development, testing, and into production. This is a role for an engineer who takes genuine ownership of their work, contributes actively to system design, and cares about how software behaves once it reaches real users in a demanding, mission-critical environment. You will work within a close-knit, module-based team and play a real part in shaping how the product evolves, including how AI is meaningfully integrated into it.
Responsibilities
Owning backend-heavy features end-to-end, from architecture and design through development, testing, and into production;
Building and testing features in C#/.NET within a trunk-based development workflow;
Using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor);
Contributing to a thoughtful, product-level integration of AI into the platform;
Working closely with Product, Design, and a domain expert to translate business needs into reliable implementations.
Candidate
Your background:
Minimum 8 years of building and shipping software within SaaS or enterprise product teams;
Deep, hands-on C#/.NET expertise, with engineering grounded in clean, well-structured code;
Knowledge of design fundamentals (SOLID, architectural patterns, pragmatic API design);
A track record of owning features end-to-end, from the first design decisions through to running in production;
A plus if you’ve built or integrated LLM-based features, or know your way around industrial or asset-intensive domains.
Your Stack & Skills:
AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) are already part of how you work;
Comfortable with relational databases and at home in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP);
Fluent in modern engineering practices — CI/CD, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and a strong code-review culture;
React or another modern frontend framework can be a plus;
You communicate comfortably in Croatian and English within an international engineering team.
