As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of the delivery of new Museum of Illusions locations ensuring projects are executed on time and to the required quality standards. It is a hands-on role combining project management, construction site oversight, budgeting and coordination of multiple stakeholders and local partners.
The role is based in Croatia, while projects are delivered across different markets worldwide. Regular international travel is an integral part of the role, with site visits to exciting destinations at key stages of construction to oversee progress and ensure successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities
Leading the end-to-end construction delivery of new Museum of Illusions locations, from project plan to opening.
Coordinating and collaborating with architects, local architectural partners, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders throughout the project.
Identifying and managing local construction partners, supporting tendering and reviewing proposals.
Overseeing construction sites and fit-out works to ensure quality and alignment with approved plans and technical requirements.
Monitoring project budgets, committed costs and potential cost overruns.
Planning and tracking project timelines and taking action to keep projects on schedule.
Acting as the main construction-side point of contact for day-to-day questions, decisions, issues and escalations.
Contributing to the Construction team’s processes and providing regular reports.
A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in construction project management and construction supervision (overseeing construction sites).
Fluent English, with confidence in communicating with international stakeholders.
Willingness to travel internationally and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
