Position

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join a Croatia-based engineering team that builds business-critical products used across the United States.  The frontend ecosystem is built using Web Components, Lit, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, reusable components, and clean engineering practices.  ​

You will work closely with backend engineers and business stakeholders to develop interfaces that support complex workflows while remaining intuitive and easy to use.

This role is ideal for someone who values clean code, strong frontend fundamentals, and thoughtful software craftsmanship.

 

Responsibilities

• ​​​​Develop and maintain modern frontend applications and reusable UI components.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend developers and product stakeholders.
• Drive frontend architecture and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and excellent user experience across devices.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish frontend development standards.
• Identify and implement improvements related to performance, maintainability, and usability.

The Candidate

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building component-based applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with REST APIs and client-side data management.
• An additional advantage is experience with Web Components, Lit, component libraries, or design systems.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
• Curious, adaptable, and excited to work in a fast-evolving product environment.
